rateEffective rate: calculated duty ÷ customs value. Decimal (0.0713 = 7.13%), six places.
rate_dutiableCalculated duty ÷ dutiable value. Empty when dutiable value is zero.

Data products

Beyond the free index, the same pipeline produces three things professionals ask for:

Full-granularity feedEvery HS chapter × the top 60 origins, monthly since 2010 — about 6,000 series, updated the day each print lands. Sample: Vietnam, all chapters (CSV).
Custom cuts and client indicesAny origin × HS2/HS4/HS6/HS10 series, full history, delivered as CSV, JSON and a credited chart — usually same day. Or an import-mix-weighted index on a client's own origin × product shares, rebuilt every print. Useful for entry-level duty histories in refund and customs work, and for measuring one company's exposure rather than the nation's.
Settlement and benchmark licensingUse of the index as the reference of a listed, cleared or OTC product, with calculation-agent services under the rulebook's calendar, fallback and revision policy.
